Gramma and Papa visit

The girls love it when Gramma and Papa come to visit (so does mom too and not just because Gramma cleans and irons and Papa cooks!) Lil loves to just sit around and read and play games with Gramma and can you guess what Ollie and Papa do! If its not boxing its base ball and she loves to win! Look at those faces (Ollie and Papa) they take their Wii serious.

D1 finals

Well the playoff run ended with a 3-0 loss in the state finals. It was a fun family affair with the girls cheering hard, and Hanover played a solid game outshooting Pinkerton 33-17 but could not find the back of the net. Max brought a razor to the game, his playoff beard was driving him nuts! We were a little disappointed at the end of the game, but our "glass is half full" girl Lil put it in perspetive; "It's a lot better than they did last year!" Thanks Lil!!!

Playoffs!

Max's high school hockey team entered the playoffs as the 7th place team, and proceeded to win games against the 10th (4-2), 2nd (2-1 OT), and 6th (2-1) place teams to advance to the NH division 1 state finals. Max has 3 assists so far in the playoffs, and did a great job on a lot of penalty kills in the semi-final game including the assist on the game winning short handed goal. A slide show and link to some pics are at the bottom of the blog. Go Hanover!!!

Sannie

On Saturday night Ken and I attended a banquet for the students who have been accepted into the CISLA program at Conn College. We are so proud of Sannie to be chosen (only 34 students were chosen out of 96) for this program. Sannie is an International Relations major Spanish minor. The Director gave a good overview of the program at the introduction and explained the program is that the students do their regular Bachelors degree and also attend classes to complete the CISLA program for 2 years. An integral part of the program is an internship abroad working for Company or Organisation to gather information to complete a Thesis paper. Can you say working on graduating College and working on a Masters at the same time! Sannie's proposed project is: Changes to the International Adoption Process in Guatemala and her proposed internship is working for an adoption agency or organization. She will be in Guatemala in the Summer of 2010. We are so proud of her!

Our Bakers

Well if you cant tell by this picture Lilly and Ollie LOVE to cook (and mommy doesn't)! Luckily they have a Daddy who also enjoys cooking. This night they were baking brownies. They got the hats and aprons from Gramma and Papa (who is a Chef) for Christmas.
